I just read that the cast of MTV's The Hills each make $100,000 per episode.
WHAT?
Talk about being in the right place at the right time. If Laguna Beach had just been Penn Hills, I'd be sitting pretty right about now.
I guess it just amazes me that these folks are not special in any way: they have no acting talent, they are not exceptionally attractive and they've never actually accomplished anything. From TV alone, they're making much more in a week than I'll make in a year for some time. I guess I don't bring my employer a few million in ad revenue each week, though. I'll have to look in to that.
P.S. Christen (Kristen?) was way more attractive before she went on the "Hollywood-20-pounds-less-than-I-really-should-weigh" diet.
